Overall good book

This book is a good read, but I was disappointed in the fact that throughout the book it more deeply analyzes Debussy's compositions than his personal life. On top of that, it was not an easy read for me as other biographies and music texts, as it uses extremely in-depth analysis with huge words and run-on sentences. I, as stated before, was very disappointed that it did not give a whole lot of analysis into his personal life much at all.
Through all this, I still think it was a good read but I think maybe another biography on Debussy would be suited better to read than this one.
