There's no Place like Home

This book took me on an emotional roller coaster from beginning to end. Meet Jesse and Maya, and how they met, and their first date had me grinning from ear to ear. I'm like, Jesse you the man! From meeting Jesse in the beginning, I truly fell in love with him. Keep in mind I had no idea where this story will take me, but I'm like, "I will stick with Jesse all the way through his trials and tribulations". Meet Maya, a very very strong independent woman where some people may not know how to first take her in the beginning, but for some reason, I understood Maya and liked her character and what she brought to the table. This story tackled real life sensitive situations such PTSD, depression, Alzheimer's just to name a few that I was riveted by the story and plot. People may think how can Jesse leave his wife and family and don't return when he is so loved, but Jesse is a man who was brought up to provide for his family and being the man of the house. After Jesse got disabled and a life changing situation occurred, Jesse felt less than a man in his mind, and left to prove a point because of some harsh words said to him. That point changed their lives forever! Maya being a strong woman, was the key to their happiness and never give up on Jesse and their love. Sometimes a man need a strong woman to lean on and this does not make the man less a man, but makes them a family and unit. This book will have you all up in your feelings because I'm not ashamed to say, I shed several tears reading this book. This book had me thinking of my beloved family over and over again. Jesse and Maya realized that trust, communication, compromise, love, loyalty, and compassion will make their family much stronger as they tackled what life threw at them and came out better people for it. Jesse learned there's no place like home, and being loved by a strong woman is alright by him. I highly recommend this book. Happy reading!

Tear jerker of a story

Omg I cried non stop reading this book. Loved the storyline and the beliefs of the hea. Long process and it was awesome. Best story ever and will re read again and again. Loved it and the reality of the storyline. One word to describe this book awesome!

Best book since "Love Through Pain"

I have only read the first 3 chapters and had to come and post my review. This book is Ancelli best work yet. I am in love with Jesse and Maya already and I haven't finished the book yet. Already has me in my feelings. You will not be disappointed with this book.
