About the Author
Roger Lancelyn Green (1918-87) was interested in myths and legends from childhood, when he spent a lot of time browsing libraries. From 1946 onwards he produced a large number of books - biographers, original children's fiction and some fifteen volumes of his own retellings of traditional stories. Also published in Puffin Audiobooks is Tales of the Greek Heroes.
